On tuesday, the 11th of july, the Red Sappers travelled to Beckerich for the first game of the BSFL national championship, facing the second team of the Hedgehogs, including some junior players, on their field at the Jos Seiler Strooss.   The Sappers won the 5 Innings-game as expected never endangered with the score of 15-3 and a remarkable pitching, getting uplifted morally after the disaster in Worms last week in the german Verbandsliga.   On next tuesday, the 18th of july, the Sappers will play their second game of the national Baseball championship against the Hedgehogs first team. Play Ball is at 7 p.m.
